Contesting Against Eurovision!

You might recognise this little lady. You probably woldn't remember her. She won the Eurovision Song Contest for Greece back in 2005. WHOAH! Don't let that put you off. Really, they have real talent in the contest these days. Don't believe me? Buy this album and find out for yourself. "Protereorita" before this was a little dodgy and calculated, clearly not Helena's true vibe, but this album sees her really spreading her musical wings. There are some true gems on here, like leading singles "Mambo" & "Gigolo", but once you get past the big-sellers at the forefront of the record "Paradigmatos Hari" provides a delightful starter for what is a very promising remainder of the album. And at the end the lady pays homage to some of her favourite artists. If you're not averse to broadening your horizons, you can't fail to be satisfied by this virtuous attempt to break with Eurovision stigma. But it. Don't buy it. The rest of Europe loves her already...

Good mix of English and Greek Songs

I really like this album, I particulary enjoyed the live part of the album where she sings classics such as "crazy". I actually prefer her version to Seal's as i find the music and the vocals are alot more powerful. I don't understand Greek but i still enjoy listening to the greek songs on the album.
