Communards blast from the past!

Finally a classic album on itunes that encompasses all the agonies and ecstasies of the eighties! Jimmy Somerville's clear and pure voice stands proud against the backdrop of classic synthesis - a joy to hear and add to my MP3 collection..... Only thing missing on itunes is the lack of 'Smalltown Boy' one of Somerville's greatest achievements!!

They were very under-rated

Saw them in concert soon after this was released & they like this album were brilliant.Favourite track c minor.

Fantastic memories

Brilliant voice and sound throughout. 2 amazing memories - 1. crying our eyes out to the 400th playing of "For a Friend" in a villa in spain. 2. Jimmi casually sipping from a plastic cup of coffee(?) during a sound check at Exeter Uni ball (where I was lucky enough to be working the bar) - the intro to Cminor, with June Miles Kingston on kit, and then he opened his mouth and sang!!! WOW! Electric!!!!!
