From the horse's... err... piano

Wonderful. Worth buying even if (as I do) you already know the pieces for the opportunity to hear them how Ravel heard them in his head. I'd read years ago a quote from him complaining that pianists played the Pavane too slowly - he joked that it was the "infante" who was dead, not the score - listen to this and note the difference in tempo.
