Sort of surprised but am loving it :)

Not surprised to love something by Melanie C but wasn't sure what would think of a collection of stage songs. However, with the exception (just for me personally) of 'Another Hundred People' I am loving this. Very easy to listen to and surprised how many of the songs I know better than I thought I would. Defo recommend this as a fine collection of very well sung stage songs :) This will get a very good amount of play from yours truly. Melanie C is extremely underrated solo wise despite fantastic reviews. Also check out her 5th album 'The Sea' which is amazing.

Talented Spice!

There is absolutely no denying that Melanie C is super talented when it comes to singing, her voice is so mature, easy to listen to and of excellent quality. I personally am not the biggest fan of musicals to be honest (even though I've got tickets for the Spice Girls musical!) but the collection of songs on here are fantastic she certainly does them justice. I love I know him so well (duet with Emma Bunton) and Ain't got no/I got life. They are my 2 favourite ones so far. I would recommend you all to buy the album you will be pleasantly surprised. She's so underrated but she definitely has the talent!

Annoyingly... This works!

I was a bit sceptical about the release of this album, I assumed it would not be the Melanie C that I like listening to. However, these tracks are sung with the same amount of passion and conviction as the songs she writes herself, so it absolutely works! Download Tell Me Its Not True and i guarantee you'll be back for the rest. Well done Mel. The Sea, The Night and Stages... All very different and something for everyone!
