This film was in good hands!
Awesome score by Marco that makes a frickin' nice listen away from the movie. This film is in great hands with this guy at the composing helm. I was worried for a time that Hollywood would screw it up by getting one of the 'Generic Epic' composers (you know who you are!) to do this .. thus ruin the film with an overkill of bangs, thuds and the cursory 'The hero is born .. again' theme.
But Marco delivers a top notch score. Buy it!
It's got a classy horror feel to it, one that pulls all the right strings. You can feel the dread, isolation and panic. Marco proves once again that he's a proper craftsman and above all the other copy/paste composers that we see today.
He does horror very well
I've got the scores that he did for the 'Scream' films which are great and this sounds like another good'un. I hate the world of pop (I think it has gone seriously downhill) so I rely on my film scores for my music fix and this will be a great addition to my collection. Well done again Marco.
