Men of Standard’s debut packs all the group’s alchemy that fans love—smooth R&B harmonies that frequently erupt into sanctified hollers and soulful gospel belting. The production is slick but also spare, leaving plenty of room for the singers to work their magic. The songs themselves are steeped in faith and adoration—whether in the perseverance anthem “Pressing On” or the commitment to obedience in “Yeah, Yeah”.
