It took me about three or four listens before i fell in love, thats not to say you'll hate it the first time you hear it. a classic summer song that already brings back memories of good times with friends. thanks fightstar!

Awesome.

Mercury Summer is another great track from Fightstar. I think 'Anthea' is even better, love it! Oh and amazing pricing from iTunes, 2 quid for 3 songs, 2 remixs and a video.. nice!

Fast And Calm at the same time

Love all the songs, espicially mercury summer. The price is amazing as well. Itunes sell some singles for 99p, but at least they sold this EP at £1.79, a very respectable price.

London-based post-hardcore outfit Fightstar came to life in the mid-2000s when guitarist/vocalist Charlie Simpson was actually still a member of the U.K. pop trio Busted. Itching to tap more fully into his rock side, a random jam at a party soon turned into Simpson writing and playing songs on the side with guitarist Al Westaway and drummer Omar Abdid.
