Timeless Recording by MegaStar lineup

I bought this recording on DVD 18 years ago on the advice of a classically inclined mate as a Handel collection starter. I have not heard a better recording since. The line-up is awesome. The counter-tenor parts add an unusual but authentic flavour. Auger and Tomlinson are staggering. The orchestra and balanced choir are impressive and the direction is flawless in my opinion. Listen and be moved by ' I know that my Redeemer Liveth' sung by the late Arleen Auger.

I've had this for many years now and despite owning other versions this is always the one I come back to. In my view the whole disc is flawless. Buy it!
