Timbo Tangerine

It was during christmas 86 that i received two gifts that changed my life forever. One was a new kidney, but the other was a compact cassette!!!!(tape) of Chris de Burgh's album, spark to a flame. As i lay in the hospital bed I don't know what felt better, the feeling of successful blood filtration or the sound of chris bleating meaningful moving stories through the medium of music. Once you get this music in your life, you wont need any other. Be warned though, He has the power to make you feel all the emotions; particularly if you are emotionally unstable. For example, you will feel "smoochy" towards your lover, you may even feel melancholic towards happier times. One thing is for sure though, you will always feel like grabbing the old air guitar. my advice is dont. you might damage your kidney. TYSM C de B

SPARK TO FLAME

Nothing short of sensational. A must buy for all Chris De Burgh Fans. the Album is absolutely top draw. TY Chris for a beautiful array of songs.

spark to a flame

This has been one of the best gifts I was ever given when it was first released (on a tape!). It cheers me up when feeling down and reminds me of happy times. Good to sing along to.

In Britain, he's had the same number of Top 40 singles -- "The Lady in Red" was a number one hit and "Missing You" peaked at number three -- yet he's had a number of minor...
