Album Review

A CD release of a mid-'70s album of the same name that was barely released (only promo copies appeared upon its original issue). Not that many have been dying for its resurrection. It's anonymous mid-'70s British rock with an occasional rootsy feel. "I Fall Over I Fall Down," which has a rustic feel akin to some of the Rolling Stones' most countrified early-'70s work, is about the best song.

British rock journeyman who probably won't even ring a bell if you've memorized Pete Frame's Family Trees, his big moment (such as it was) was holding the lead singer/rhythm guitarist slot in Mott the Hoople in their dying, post-Ian Hunter days. Hyams also played in bands that included members of Van Der Graaf Generator, Spooky Tooth, Fleetwood Mac, and Ian Dury's Blockheads, although he never recorded with any of them.
