Take a chance......You' ll Love it !

I was played a Judie album about two years ago while travelling in a car...and loved it so much I've purchased a few of her albums, seen her live last year and have to say am now one of her fans. This is one of those artists that will always be overlooked by todays media (I dont know why....but I think she is) I can promise you you'll love this album ....I do and will be desperate to see her on tour next year.

!! Try wont be disappointed

Still the best

There isn't a singer in existence with a purer voice than Judie. The album's as good as always, indeed slightly better than some of the recent ones. Joy, Humankind, Moving Target and the title track are gorgeous and poignant. I thoroughly recommend Judie's music, it's an absolute crime that people way less talented are huge stars, and she isn't.

i simply cannot beleive how good this album is!

judie has never sounded so pure and clear vocally for many years!

from the opening track "one tree hill" with its irish lilt, great lyrics and a hook-line chorus that says in your mind, to the last track "till its over" with its beautiful lyrics and vocal (if you think adele's "someone like me" hit you in the heart - miss tzuke delivers a great performance over a mainly piano vocal.

lyrically the album is stunning and personal..i suggest you sit back press play and read the lyrics as the album plays.

"just you and i" has a certain fragile intensity,
"i can't wait" has beautiful lyrics and vocals and is matched perfectly with the atmospheric backing
"moving target" had me nearly crying at the beauty of the song
"the truth" actually did bring me to is so beautiful!
"save myself" did as well..its amazing!

the only track i wasnt keen on is "humankind" its nice enough but i dont like songs about saving the planet!

however "joy" is an added bonus as it has her lovely daughters bailey and tallulah on backing vocals - their voices match so will with with their mums and makes every song special.

any judie fan will literally adore this and hopefully some new ones will give it a listen too xxx

Born Judie Myers in London on April 3, 1956, British pop/rock singer Judie Tzuke enjoyed some commercial success in her homeland for a spell during the 1980s, but was not able to translate it stateside. Judie's Polish immigrant parents had changed their last names from Tzuke to Myers shortly after relocating to England (it was a common last name in their new home of Yorkshire), but by the time Judie began establishing her singing career, she had decided to use original family surname. Both of Tzuke's...
