wonderful.......just wonderful

yes i love this album this is so awesome i would buy this album again and again if i could one thing strikes me odd though the album is called "11" tracks of whack but the number of tracks on the album is twelve!!!!!


I too love this LP. True there are a few poor tunes but the good ones dominate. It's clear from this that Becker provides the edgier components of the Dan's manifesto and together with Fagen's straight laced traditionalism this is what made them great. Weird and wonderful, unlike the dull Circus Money.


It is simply a great lp. Why did I do without it so many years. Oh, nd I disagree with another reviewer here....circus money, the second solo is just great too. This s stunning stuff

Guitarist/bassist/songwriter/producer Walter Becker hooked up with his partner Donald Fagen when both were attending Bard College in upstate New York in the late '60s. They became members of Jay and the Americans, then signed a songwriting contract with ABC Records in the early '70s. At ABC, they formed the group Steely Dan, who gradually dwindled down to just the two of them while they sold millions of records during the '70s. They split up in 1981, with Becker turning to a part-time producing career...
