I love this album, already singing along!

falls short of past greatness

If you're looking for more music like "Take off your pants and jacket" or "Enema of the State" you won't find it here - but that would have been pretty obvious before this album even came out. Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy Blink are back together, touring and making new music - and the lead single "Up All Night" is awesome and manages to find a balance between staying true to the Blink roots while also maturing and moving forward - but sadly most of the other songs on the album don't quite cut it (well, not for me at least). There are 3 or 4 great tracks (which you'll probably be able to identify from the free previews) but other tracks just sound like Angels & Airwaves or +44 b-sides. This may even literally be the case as Tom sings about "love" countless times over, which is pretty coincidental to the last two AvA albums "Love pt 1" and "Love pt 2". In short, Neighbourhoods is good, but not great. The best Blink days may be in the past, but the music will always remain on my iPod with fond memories.

The threat of a lawsuit from a similarly named Irish band forced them to change their name to...
