Change Can Be Good

As of the last 3 albums there is a distinct change in style, from tell all your friends being punky, where you want to be bordering the emo/rock era and with louder now this focusses on pure rock This is the first album without Fred Mascherino (guitarist and backing vocalist if you dont know) in the back catalogue his interchange with lazzara has formed a very strong part of the music So the band have had to adapt to the new taking back sunday and i feel thyve done a great job, it is intense it is firey and it is thoughtful. The lyrics have become even more thoughtprovoking, and all in all i feel that this is a maturer album, yes they will still rock stages and blow peoples minds with this music, but its a development of style which creates a new taking back sunday, hence "new again" Songs New Again 9/10 Sink Into Me 10/10 just class Lonely, Lonely 8/10 Summer, Man 10/10 play loud, youll get the best out of this song Swing 9/10 Where My Mouth Is 10/10 The highlight of the album This is where i believe the album should stop as hereafter in my opinion it does vere off, yes this does include more of the old stuff, moreso tell all your friends than any other album, it just doesnt become memorable as it could be, however capital m-e and caparthia are still goo songs Cut Me Up Jenny 6/10 Catholic Knees 7/10 Capital M-E 8/10 Carpathia 8/10 Everything Must Go 7/10 Top Songs.... Summer Man, Where My Mouth Is, Sink Into Me, New Again, Swing No matter if theyve changed no matter if theyve adapted, new again is still a class act

about time

amazing , progressed completley as a band , love it love it love it

Different isn't always bad.

I like it. Lonely, Lonely is a really good song. It doesn't have the angst of the first album but they obviously grow as people and musicians + it's a different line up even from the last album. It has some new laid back pop'ish bits which Adam's lyrics balance out to keep dark and grand.
