Album Review

Glasgow-based alternative rock band PAWS follow up their very well-received 2014 sophomore Youth Culture Forever with their third effort, No Grace. Once again on the Brighton-based Fat Cat Records, the band enlisted the production talents of blink-182's Mark Hoppus for the album.

Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, PAWS (all caps) are a trio who play indie rock with punky ferocity and a remarkable knack for pop hooks. Phillip Taylor, Josh Swinney, and Matt Scott formed as a cabin studio project and started recording at their first practice session. Following a small run of cassettes and a split 7" single for Edinburgh-based Gerry Loves Records, PAWS released their Mermaid EP and then went on to tour for most of 2010. Their debut album, Cokefloat!, was released on Fat Cat Records...
