Album Review

Including both of the Walker Brothers' big hits ("The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Any More," "Make It Easy on Yourself"), and highlights from Scott Walker's first four solo albums, No Regrets: The Best of the Walker Brothers is a fine overview of Walker's more pop-oriented music, containing the majority of his best-known songs including "Joanna," "Lights of Cincinnati," "Boy Child," "Montague Terrace in Blue," "Jackie," and "If You Go Away," plus one of the best songs from the Walkers' '70s reunion ("No Regrets").

No Regrets

The title says it all. Absolutely no regrets at buying this music. The music is the best of Scott Walker and the Walker Brothers.

No Regrets for sure

As I posted on the Walker Brothers album, as a teenager all those years ago I was an absolute Walker Brothers fanatic, and still listening to Scott's unbelievably beautiful voice I can still see why 'No Regrets' is one of the most fabulous songs, along with Scott's version of 'If you go away', also covered by John, who I believe has now passed away, who had such a beautiful harmonising voice that worked so well with Scott! Love it still!

Childhood memories!

Brilliant cd! Not for every1 but if you were a fan, just listening from being in the car with my dad! Good times :-)

He then hooked up with John Maus and Gary Leeds to form the Walker Brothers. They weren't named Walker, they weren't brothers, and they weren't English, but they nevertheless became a part of the British Invasion after moving to the U.K. in 1965. They enjoyed a couple of years of massive success there (and a couple of hits...
