Customer Reviews

This album just works.. All voices compliment each other brilliantly, and together sound just beautiful.. There is a great balance of classical and more popular music-- 'Nothing compares to you' sounds fantastic with the classical take on it, with the more traditional songs such as 'Pie Jesu' sounding timeless...A master piece, lets hope the success of all angels continues!

An Excellent Follow Up

I purchased the debut album by All Angels last year and did not really know what to expect. However, my ears were subsequently filled with some of most harmonic and beatifully crafted arrangements of carefully selected classical compositions. The girls voices were far more mature than their years and their excellence quite obvious. All this together has created a synergy that I have found hard to surpass all year. Until now. The new album 'In To Paradise' by these four greatly talented girls has not only surpassed the previous album, but set the bar higher for those now would be classical startlets. The new arrangements (Lole) of modern songs such as 'The Scientist' show not only the groups versatility and range whilst not detracting fromtheir classical roots. Although this album is not entirely of a 'classical' ilk, it is nonetheless a 'classic' album that will appeal to a wide audience. And why shouldn't it? We are in an age of mass production pop and this offers something different, and in terms of technical excellence, somehting far superior. Don't shy away from purchasing this album if you are afraid of it's classical credentials. One listen to 'Sancte Deus (Nimrod)' and 'In Paradisum' will soon assuage any would be fears that you may have had. In short, this album is fantastic. Go and buy it! S

5 Star!

A very fitting title to a well thought out album. What you find here is All Angels retaining their very young and pure vocal talents but applying them to music less associated with them. This separates them from the many classical artists who choose to stay with a small niche of classical music, too afraid of experimenting with music from other genres. All Angels find a balance between the music that made them famous but also growing, musically, into areas unfamilar to them. The result is a well balanced album, a must for those wishing to relax or simply be entertainment by 4 talented ladies.

Dubbed "the classical Spice Girls" in the pages of Britain's Guardian Unlimited, teen vocal quartet All Angels emerged in 2006 with the fastest-selling classical debut in U.K. chart history. All Angels were the brainchild of producer/manager Steve Abbott, who previously scored with classical crossover acts the Choirboys and Nicola Benedetti. After an extensive nationwide search, Abbott selected teens Melanie Nakhla (an aspiring pilot), Charlotte Ritchie (an aspiring actress with a bit role in the...
