Album Review

One Day Like This is the fifth studio album from onetime X Factor finalist and classically trained Welsh singer Rhydian. He turned to the crowdfunding website Pledge Music for this release and called on his fans to get involved in the creation of the record. Enlisting the Orchestra of St. John and producer Ben Robbins (Katherine Jenkins, Sara Kempe), here Rhydian demonstrates his vocal prowess on a collection of soaring classical crossover tracks, including duets with Bonnie Tyler and Kerry Ellis.

Simply beautiful. Glorious voice, great choice of songs and love the duets with Bonnie Tyler and Kerri Ellis.

Simply stunning!

There's something for everyone in this fifth studio album from Rhydian. Who cannot fail to be invigorated by the iconic One Day Like this, marvel as Rhydian duets with himself in the Pearl Fishers Duet or stirred at the beautiful Welsh lullaby Suo Gan which had me in tears. Every track is beautifully recorded and mastered to give a perfect sound. Even traditional, much recorded songs like Danny Boy sounds fresh and exciting with the new arrangement and full orchestral backing. A must for all serious music lovers.
