Looks a bit like this, sounds a bit like him, blah blah blah

The boy has got skills. Great voice, solid tunes and a strong enough balance for his music to suit your ups and your downs. Comparisons are going to be made to other artists and this isn't really a big deal if it helps sales, but it's the lazy media with the James Blunt thing that gets me most. He sounds nothing like Blunt. The cover shot of the album looks like early(!)-Chris Martin, I grant you, but his voice has much more to it than that suggests. 'Soul' is the word of the day for this boy, I guess, and if you are someone who needs a 'frame-of-reference' to make a buying decision, I'd say he sounds like Paul Weller ('Heavy Soul' ) musically and Terence Trent D'Arby (put it in the Search bar if you don't know who I mean) mixed sparingly with the lead-singer from Gomez. I'm quite sure he won't mind that comparison.

Wonderful World!!

I heard about this guy a little while ago. Been looking forward to finally getting the album. Its AMAZING!! You must buy this. Every song is fantastic. Oh and why do people compare this guy to James Blunt?! This album WILL NOT get you slitting your wrists!! BUY BUY BUY

What a Voice!!

This album is great just buy it!!!! I first heard James on Jules Holland and was blown away by his voice. Nearly all the tracks on this album are great. My personal favourites are 'Wonderful World' and 'You Give Me Something'. Give this album chance you won't be dissapointed.

Blessed with a fresh, soulful voice that alternated between smooth and rough tones (and suggested a British Stevie Wonder), Morrison recalled both the passion of classic soul music and the confessional lyrical stance of the singer/songwriters of the '70s. Morrison was born in the West Midlands town...
