iTunes Editors' Notes

Maroon 5 is a pop-rock band and proud of it. On Overexposed, it embraces the genre's versatility, collaborating with artists from a broad spectrum of sounds. Pittsburgh’s hometown hero Wiz Khalifa raps about envious scrubs who hate on his success—a stark contrast to Adam Levine’s romantic take on the idea of ringing up the object of his desire on “Payphone.” Maroon 5 also joins forces with Max Martin, Benny Blanco, and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.

Sold them self out

The album is a massive change, due to moves like jagger and it's massive success it seems they just have ditched classic Maroon 5 ways and sold them
Out to yet another BUMP BUMP THUMP THUMP band, I followed Maroon since the start and this is the weakest album they have done, still some gems though like BEAUTIFUL GOODBYE and DAYLIGHT,

Completely worth the wait, love it!

Auto Exposed

Why anybody thought they should auto-tune Adam Levine is beyond me. People who liked payphone should definitely check out their last album 'Hands All Over'- it was far better and more like their old style. I never thought I'd see the day Maroon 5 would jump on the pop wagon that involved britney spears' writers and an auto tune. I miss the guitar led tracks we used to get.

In their favour... they manage to create something new with every album and this doesnt disappoint. Stand out tracks such as One More Night and Sad hint to their old roots.

Worth a listen if you liked 'Moves Like Jagger' or 'Makes Me Wonder' but nothing special here. The first three albums are certainly more worth checking out. It's a grower though.
