Editors’ Notes

Half of this album contains George Martin’s lush score for the animated film, and the other half contains the title track (originally released on Revolver) as well as two Eastern-tinged George Harrison numbers (“Only a Northern Song” and “It’s All Too Much”). Lennon’s rumbling “Hey Bulldog” and the infectious “All Together Now” also add colourful touches that fit in with the animated film’s enduring legacy. This remastered iTunes LP version of Yellow Submarine contains a mini-documentary on the album as well as liner notes and photos.

This album is awesome. Even so there are not that many Beatles songs on here. Yellow Submarine is so catchy. It's became a nursey rhyme. It's that catchy.

All Togetehr Now- A, B, C- it's that good.

Hey Bulldog- Get this song. I especially love the John and Paul barking sounds at the end!

All you need is Love- Hundreds of Millions saw The Beatles perform this. Great song.

Need I go on?

What else can I say...

It's The Beatles :-)

If only for one song.

It's All Too Much is a one of their best and this song is worth five stars alone. Of course the supporting cast, Hey Bulldog, Only a Northern Song make a good case. Rather than a classic album, more the case of an album containing some classics.

Moreover, they were among the few artists of any discipline that were simultaneously...
