One form my youth

Not a bad CD as it takes me back to my youth! The seminal When Will You... and Loaded, also Real Gone Kid forms one of the BIG Three along with Simple Minds - Don't You and U2's Pride form what I count as the anthems of a generation. Some of the songs can be a bit 'samey' but most are good honest Scot Rock

It's been a while

Just fallen back in love with this band after I found an old cassette in the spare room, I never really fell out of love with them if the truth be told, great band and great memories.


I grew up with that, my dad played it all the time. I cant get it out of my head.
Simply beacause its divine musical awesomeness.

Taking their name from a Steely Dan song, Deacon Blue were one of the best unknown bands in Scotland. Formed in 1985, the group performed its first concert as the opening act for the Waterboys' premier show in England.
