Superb Polish metal!

If you've heard the last two Behemoth albums you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect here, although in my opinion everything's done that little bit better than previously; Blasting drums, inhumanely accurate guitars and of course Nergal's distinctive vocals. The album blasts along at an incredible pace although that's not to say it doesn't have it's quieter moments, the last track Lucifer for example. The guitar's are intricate and catchy throughout and the production is superb. All in all, a fine testament to Polish metal; buy it now!! P.

Polish blackened death metal!!

I first heard "Ov Fire and the Void" on 'Necrolust Vol.1' which is from Metal-Hammer and thought it was awesome. So I took down the name of the song at the artist, and researched them up here on iTunes. I instantly fell in love with Behemoth.
The sound of there guitars, how clean they can be, and how insane the drummer can be. Personally I'm not too bothered about wether a drummer has a double or a single bass drum. But the double bass is insanely fast. Sometimes I find it hard to understand the lyrics (despite the fact they're polish. But they do sing in english sometimes).
The lyrics in Lucifer are hard to understand because during the song they do sing in Polish so i have no idea that they're saying.
All together. It is an awesome album by an insane band.

Evangelion

Quite simply the most stunningly impressive example of Behemoth's Metal Mastery to date. Brutal and relentless drumming combined with some truly outstanding guitar work which will surely place Nergal and Inferno amongst the top Metal Gods of all time!! AWESOME - Go Buy It NOW!!

Considered to be one of the leading death metal bands to emerge from Poland in the 1990s, Behemoth have endured quite a few lineup shifts in the course of their career (especially in the bass department), with founding singer/guitarist Nergal (Adam Darski) being the only constant member. Behemoth were formed in 1991 (originally as a trio), and began issuing several demos shortly thereafter, the most circulated one being 1993's From the Pagan Vastlands.
