More rubbish

'Don't Cha' is a catchy song, but even then only the chorus. The sentiment of the song is nasty and I'm sure there are dozens of young lads over the country with girlfriends who are aesthetically challenged cringing with embarassment. Not to sound too archaic, but this song is just propaganda towards the culture aimed at girls to all go around looking the same. As for the cover of Tainted Love? I don't think I can bring myself to mentally echo the sound of it. They haven't just murdered that song, they tortured it - slowly. This goes right into the top listing of worst ever cover. However, they didn't stop there, their record producers obviously felt particularly homicidal, because Hot Stuff became another victim. Do they seriously think they've contributed anything to the musical world? Some of these songs need a separate genre - crap. The PCDs, quite frankly, have the musical talent of a wasp. Along with their distinctive lack of gray matter, their tone deaf, and I only thank God that they will rapidly fall out of the charts and out of my life forever.

I really wanted to like this album, and was hoping for a great girl-group act that could really deliver, but alas I was disapointed! Apart from the excellent first single "Don't Cha", the rest of the album is pretty poor. A mish-mash of below par covers, and rubbish pop. Wait for the other singles to come out, and buy those if you like them - but I wouldn't recommend the whole album.

Get some originality

This is not a good record. They need to write their own songs. The only songs that are actually their's is 'Dontcha', but was probably created by men on blackberrys. Still, on that song the lyrics are terrible. Also, what is the point of all those members? Only one of them sings. And for God's sake put some clothes on! 'Tainted Love' is boring and ruins the song. The only cover that was good of that was Marilyn Manson. They aren't cool enough to pull it off. 'Stickwitu' is soppy and sickening and the title is enough to make you tear your hair out. It's STICK WITH YOU you idiots! The rest of the songs basically are either covers or all sound the same. This is a waste of your money. People, buy Kanye West 'Late Registration', or 50 Cent 'The Massacre' if you want something good.

Founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995, the Pussycat Dolls began as a burlesque dance revue based in Los Angeles, spawned a second revue in Las Vegas, grew into an A-list phenomena with a revolving cast of guest celebrities, and eventually became a recording act with a number one dance hit. It wasn't long after launching its revue that the troupe began attracting actresses and models who wanted to become a Pussycat Doll for a night.
