Best album yet!

I have been a fan of Frightened Rabbits music for a good few year now. This album is a great example of hard work and passion. This band just keep going from strength to strength. It's about time they get the recognition they deserve.

FRs best album yet?

The Midnight Organ Fight has been my favourite album for the last four years. It is an incredible album that never gets old. The follow up, the Winter of Mixed Drinks, is a great album but when you compare it to MOF it feels slightly over produced and lacks the consistency of MOF.

Pedestrian Verse manages to find the middle ground between MOF and WOMD in terms of production. It is however something completely knew from the band. It's hard to pick favourites but at the moment Holy, Nitrous Gas and State Hospital are the ones I'm most looking forward to hearing live. The deluxe version is worth getting as the three bonus songs are nothing like what's on the album and are more than just mere b-sides.

Scott had said, as all musicians do, that this is their best album. Only time will tell but it's one of those albums you can put on shuffle and enjoy. It is an album that, coupled with their record label, will finally see the band reach the heights that all their fans knew they could.

Congratulations FR! You deserve all the success that is coming your way.

I'm trapped in an abandoned building....

This doesn't need listened to to know its brilliant

Frightened Rabbit was founded in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2004, when guitarist Scott Hutchison and his brother Grant, a percussionist who -- like his sibling -- prefers to keep his last name a secret, began recording demos of songs they had written. Encouraged...
