EDITORS’ NOTES

Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili evokes rapturous colours from the Rach 2 in this fine collaboration with Paavo Järvi and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Together, via the “Adagio sostenuto”, they achieve a transcendental balance and flow. Buniatishvili plays with furious conviction and fluttering precision on the expansive Rach 3.
