Album Review

The Score is an undeniable classic, but it's a major stretch to apply that term to the Fugees' unpromising debut — 1994's Blunted on Reality — as well as the post-Score cash-grab Bootleg Versions. When it was released, in 2011, Original Album Classics — the three discs, as they were originally released, packaged inside a functional cardboard case — sold in the U.K. for roughly the price of one regular-price CD (and as an import in the U.S. for roughly the price of two mid-line CDs). So, it provided a decent value for those who weren't satisfied by owning just The Score or any of the single-disc anthologies.
