Groove & Talent

Jaffa At The Arsenal

I have to confess that I'm a big Ed Poole fan.

Routes is Ed's 6th album and in my opinion, undoubtably his best effort to date.

Key words here are as in the review title. Groove - goes without saying really. You don't become an accomplished bassist like Ed without it!
Talent. Not just Ed's awesome talent, but a varied lineup up of guest musicians that help make this album varied and interesting, whilst unmistakenly being the Ed Poole sound that we love.

Guests include Snake Davies, Pete "Woody" Wood, Richard Pardy and Lyndon Connah .... and many others.

My advice is that if you have ever liked an Ed Poole track, you won't be dissapointed with Routes.
If you haven't heard Ed, and you are a fan of true musicians, buy Routes.
