my favourite rufus Album

I just love this cd..... My favourite tracks are Beauty Mark, Barcelona, Foolish Love, Imaginary Love, Matinee Idol..... My favourite of all of Rufus' albums.

Work of Art

A stunning collection of songs; expertly crafted. You would be hard pushed to find a better contemporary songwriter than Rufus. Each song on this albumn is a journey, journey's that never date and are always as fresh and unique as the first time you listen to them. 'Foolish Love' is in my opinion, Rufus' greatest achievement.

Beautiful Voice!

There's something about Rufus' voice that ensures you never tire of listening to him, it's so rich and distinctive. I've listened to almost all of his work yet this debut album remains a favourite.

The songs are extremely well composed and the album is warm and full of the themes of family and love, there's even a warmth to some of his sarcastic lyrics (which he doesn't use often I must add if that puts anyone off.)

Buy this if you love piano pieces, one of the best contemporary artists around I would have to argue. I might just add if you like this it may also be well worthwhile checking out Martha Wainwright.
