Customer Reviews

Well Done Lads!!!

Best Rock album in years. These guys are the real deal, pure headbanging fist pumping Rock n Roll mayhem. There's no point going into a track by track review, they're all classics. Haven't stopped playing this album for 2 weeks, the neighbours are sick of it. Buy this album, grab a beer and turn it up to 11. Go on you can afford it!!!

brilliant!!!

this album has definitely been thought about. You have some fast tunes like blackjack and hellfire, then medium tunes like runnin' wild and then you've got some slow but definitely not rubbish slow tunes like diamond in the rough and too much. too young, too fast. It is extremely difficult to find flaws in this album, which is probably why everyone who has reviewed it has either given it a five star review or a four star review. It's no wonder that companies like guitar hero have picked up on their work, as cheap wine and cheaper women is one of the songs in world tour. - Stand up for rock and roll: 8.5/10 - Runnin' wild: 10/10 - Too much, too young, too fast: 9.5/10 - Diamond in the rough: 9/10 - Fat city: 8.5/10 - Blackjack: 9.5/10 - What's eating you: 8.5/10 - Girls in black:9/10 - Cheap wine and Cheaper women: 9.5/10 - Heartbreaker: 8.5/10 - Hellfire: 9/10 Too sum things up? this album is brilliant, AC/DC would struggle to meet Airbourne's standard.

Best album you will hear for a good few years

Simply said, this album and indeed the band is incredible! I only started listening to these guys about a week ago and now i worship them. Instantly catchy songs, great guitar solos and the kind of music you can listen to over and over again - an instant classic! Buy it now... or endure the consequences. Rock on! \m/

Biography

Formed: 2004 in Warrnambool, Australia

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Airbourne are a straightforward rock band in the Aussie pub rock tradition of AC/DC, the Angels, and Rose Tattoo: four guys with beers in hand who would rather die than be caught wearing a pink shirt. The brothers Joel and Ryan O'Keeffe grew up in the country town of Warrnambool, with a collection of classic Australian rock albums stolen from their uncle. When everyone around them was listening to contemporary music, they were firmly entrenched in the music of the '70s and '80s they longed to re-create....
