iTunes Review

The fall from grace may be an established part of the reality narrative but The X Factor winner James Arthur triumphantly flips the script on this energetically soulful second album. Personal turmoil—including an ongoing tussle with anxiety—proves the ultimate creative fuel. “Prisoner” is a bluesy hymn to self-destructiveness, “Phoenix” turns symbolic rebirth into a lusty neo-R&B cut and “Sermon”, featuring rapper Shotty Horror, is a fittingly confessional, gospel-tinged behemoth.

Customer Reviews

I don't know wether you read these comments or not James, or even if you care, but I'd like to say this. The songs I have heard so far in this album are great. They are meaningful and have a story, when music is at is best it is telling a story that the listener can relate to. Wether it be wretch 32 talking about his childhood and the music industry in his fire in the booth, to Bob Dylan's blowing in the wind, or yourself if it's heartfelt and meaningful it's great music. Don't let money or women make you feel above people or abuse a certain person because of his or her sexuality or religion or race. It's plain stupid that anyone should be labelled in this day and age. And it's plain rude of you to think you are any better than anyone else by giving out abuse. Get back up and make music, you're great at it.

Homophobic 😄

Homophobic...... ahhhh it is in predictive text!!!!, because I'm pretty sure you narrow minded twits wouldn't know how to spell it without. Well done James for Pursuing your dream, you tripped but you got back up again. That takes courage 👍
