It's all down hill from here

There are actually two versions of this album, with a few differences most notably the different take of Violet (which at the time of writing on iTunes the other version lacks). Worth seeking them both out if you can as they show just how Trevor Horn (Buggles) and Seal couldn't let go of the completed album and put out the second issue a few weeks after the first, with the same catalogue number. There's also some excellent collaborations with Guy Sigsworth (Frou Frou, Bjork, Madonna). In my opinion Seal's output is all downhill from here, though there are a few great songs across his later albums.

Crazy, you will be if you dont listen to this.

Some ppl reading this will be to young to know the shock we all felt when Crazy was first heard on our radios. The rush to the record shop to spend the weeks record budget on this self named album. If you were there in the que with me then great, r u still listening? you should be, and if you dont know what i am talking about then double click on crazy now, but turn the volume up first! yr gona love it ;-)

A Masterpiece of Prodcution and soundtrack to my youth

i was a fortunate kid, listened to this album over and over and over again, with headphones pressed so tight to my ears to i could hear every sparkle that trevor horn provided, How i would love to get an instrumental of this album, this is the ultimate balearic soundtrack belongs with Sade, EBTG, same year as Enya, Deep forest or Enigma but in a league of its own, in my mind avoid the obvious Dance smashes like Crazy, Killer and Future Love Paradise although classics in their own right, they have aged, Listen to the Soulful R&B in this Seals smooth unstrained voice and session players at their peak over electric drums The massively long dub out to Violet is one of the most amazing pieces of music ever made.. Definitely Seal at his peak and Trevor horn working overtime. Own this misleading super cool beautiful album.

Seal emerged from England's house music scene in 1990 to become the most popular British soul vocalist of that decade. Although his earliest material still showed signs of acid house, by the mid-'90s he was known for a distinctive fusion of soul, folk, pop, dance, and rock that brought him success on both sides of the Atlantic. Early on, he enjoyed a very high level of success -- an Ivor Novello Award was given to him for the writing of his first single, and he won three Grammy Awards only a few...
