Threshold - Unplugged!

Threshold are from the South of England and are one of Britain's best kept progressive rock/metal secrets! As the name suggests, this is an acoustic album, consisting of "wireless" versions of some of Threshold's best-known songs. It's a compilation album with a twist: the songs tend to be chilled-out, less "heavy" versions of the originals which let you truly appreciate the band's talent and diversity. It's a definite must for Threshold 'devotees'. Melodic rock fans will also love this album.

Threshold came into being in the greater London area in 1989. The lineup of the band was Damian Wilson, Karl Groom, Nick Midson, Jon Leary, Richard West, and Tony Grinham. The band released their debut disc, Wounded Land, in 1993. Shortly after the release, though, Wilson chose to move on to other musical ventures, leaving Threshold without a vocalist.
