Great production , a whole new outlook to Shawns songs

I `ve seen Shawn play 3 times over here in the uk over the past years , each time she has come on stage armed with just her wonderful list of stories via her songs and a guitar , that's all that she needs to take you to a different place for a couple of hours.. And that's just what this CD does for you . I'm always amazing that she can hold the stage with her outstanding solo performance , don't get me wrong , Shawn sounds great with a band to back her up , but solo just brings out so much more to her songs , This is what she does best and at long last this Live release give everyone a chance to fully appreciate what an outstanding performer , singer songwriter Shawn is... Just load this on you ipod , go for a walk or a drive and enjoy....

A genius live

Shawn Colvin must be one of the most under rated musicians playing today. I have all her albums and this is a great addition. You find out how good someone is when they play live. Beautiful singing, superb guitar playing and songs with meaningful lyrics. A real treat. Buy this album!! My only regret is it doesn't include "Cry like an Angel". Watch it on You Tube it's a gem.

Colvin's debut record won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album in 1991, but it was her 1997 single, "Sunny Came Home," that...
