Shepherd's Bush Welcomes a True Record of TWP

Like a classic Wedding Present song this live session builds steadily to a thrashing finish that carries you off to somewhere else, somewhere that you should perhaps not be, but are going to go anyway, what the hell! David Gedge's voice is probably stronger now than ever, with every word as clear as you might wish. On first hearing I thought that his voice was too dominant, but the guitars come through powerfully enough on re-hearing. The songs are a great selection from the Gedge archive, everyone a short story worthy of a film of it's own. This is what a Wedding Present gig is like - it rocks!
