Customer Reviews

Why do so many reviewers have closed minds?

I'd love to say I'm shocked at the majority of reviews here but sadly I'm not. Why is it, that if it doesn't conform to pre-concieved ideas of what a genre should be, that new music gets slated? This album is one of the best examples of the range and originality of todays up and coming artists under the electronic banner and just because none of it is likely to be accompanied by slick videos, with bootiful women, and be played in corporateclubland, doesn't mean you should dismiss it. Why not try switching on your brain a bit and take a listen or five. Granted, you might not get it straight away, in fact some of it you might not get at all but challenge yourself and I guarantee you'll be glad you did. If you are not humming stand out track "Silver Surfer" by Sunset People, all day after your second listen then there's something wrong with ya! People who say this music has no soul have forgotten what soul is... It's not a sound, it's a feeling! Shifty.

give it a shot

strangely brilliant. I can see how folk think its crap but go with it and don't be snobish. Think PJ Harvey meets Pulp crossed with a moog
