It's to Good to Miss! Don't be "SHY"

After trawling through a lot of Albums, this is a refreshingly brilliant album.

Fantastic. A must buy for all fans of Shy.

Shy's best album to date and candidate for best hard rock album of the year.

Awesome return from a classic band!!

In an age where so many of the hard rock bands from the 80's are enjoying a second coming following the dark days of grunge, it's so refreshing to see Shy join the party. One of the most under-rated bands of their time. they have stormed back with a stunner. No Tony Mills on vocals but so what, a great album is a great album right?

There is a distinctly Scandinavian sound to opener 'Land Of A Thousand Lies' reminding me of early Yngwie Malmsteen during the Joe Lynn Turner Odyssey era. This continues through the album.

To be honest, going through every track is a pointless excercise as each one is brilliant but I must mention the emotionally and atmospherically charged ballad 'Breathe'. Wow!

Originally known as Trojan, the unit was formed in 1982 by Tony Mills (vocals), Steve Harris (guitar), Paddy McKenna (keyboards), Alan Kelly (drums), and Mark Badrick (bass). The quintet released their debut album the following year on the independent Ebony label.
