Different, but still brilliant

Oh yes. This is very nice indeed. Something of a departure for Einaudi this, but nice to see that he is able to compose for orchestra and still retain his appeal. It really is a beautiful soundtrack, ethereal and hypnotic in turn but always gorgeously underscored, this is one of the best that I've heard. The solo piano is a major feature throughout, as you might expect, but it is nice to see the Einaudi hasn't hidden himself behind familiar grounds, but made the effort to explore other instruments, and even a little bit of chilled pop! Nice one: well worth the money.

A little bit of peace in a mad mad world...

A beautiful album which gets better the more its listened to. When life seems dire and your stressed beyond all belief... run yourself a hot bath and put this little belter through your ears. If this does not sort you out then you will have to watch Eastenders to pretend there are many people living around a square who are more stressed and insecure than you are. Treat yourself to this or any of his other excellent albums and lose yourself in well crafted music.

Cheaper than Valium

Who ever wrote the review regarding watching East Enders couldnt of got the review more accurate. This is THE album to forget wars, overdrafts, expensive fuel and pathetic lying governments and noisy neighbours. Just relax and listen its that easy.
