Album Review

98° were the also-rans of the teen pop mania at the turn of the millennium — although they had hits, with three singles making it into the Top Ten — and their lead singer, Nick Lachey, was perhaps best known as the husband of Jessica Simpson (something that their MTV reality series Newlyweds was unlikely to change). Lachey debuted as a solo artist with SoulO, and preferred to stick with the sound of 98° rather than stretch himself. Lachey has a pleasant enough voice and does a little better on sprightly pop tunes like "Could You Love" than he does on ballads. Overall, the record is an apt companion to Simpson's In This Skin.

This is a great album and Nick is a great artist, The best song on here has to be Shut up, This was the song Nick had trouble with finding the money for the video, shown on the hit TV show "The Newlyweds" In the end it came out to be a great song and even better video. If you have seen the show you might know that the intro music is Nick's song "This I Swear" also featured on this ablum. If you like these 2 song the album is a must for you and will bring you many hours of pleasurable listening. For that reason i have given it 5 stars,i hope to hear much more of his work and hope he brings out many more albums. I wish him luck with everything.

its a gorgeous album with beautiful songs

Really good album!

This is a very good album. It fits in with any mood, and it is a good change from the mindless rap u always hear nowadays. Best song has to be 'Fall in love again'. Get this.

As the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC redefined pop music for the masses upon the closing of the 1990s, 98° were also making girls scream and swoon with their darling good looks and delightsome harmonies. Fronting the vocal group was the svelte charmer Nick Lachey. This onetime sports medicine major was a bona fide star thanks to his sensitive performance style, thus a career in Hollywood seemed destined for Lachey. Born Nicholas Scott Lachey on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee in fall 1973, he...
