Album Review

While there's certainly no shortage of official live Rush albums, a handful of bootlegs have begun seeing the light of day with more "official" releases, as is the case with Spirit of the Airwaves. Made up of a live set the band recorded in St. Louis, Missouri in 1980 at the Kiel Auditorium, the album gives hardcore fans a chance to chuck their old bootleg cassette recordings from the radio for a fresh version of the live set. While definitely not up to the quality of the band's official live albums, die-hard Rush fanatics will definitely want to check out Spirit of the Airwaves on compact disc for a new take on an obscure classic.
