Combining hauntingly gothic vocals against irresistible melodies, If You Wait is music to weep by. Single "Hey Now" is all soaring emotion versus hymnal organ arrangements, “Strong” summons some stately resolve, while "Wasting My Young Years" fuses chiming guitars with operatic drama for a tale of loss and yearning. But it’s the Brit three-piece's stripped-back cover of cult electro track "Nightcall" (from the movie Drive) which offers the most rewarding climax from Hannah Reid’s sumptuous voice.

Impossible to pause

I counted down the days until this album was released. Based on every other LG track I could buy or scrape from the internet I knew it was going to be excellent but this has exceeded my dreams. Their sound is unique and spellbinding. They are young but the songs seem soulful beyond their young years. I can't stop playing it. There's nothing else I want to hear.

Can't wait.
