We will indeed miss you when you've gone.

If you don't own much of Morrissey's back catalogue then what are you waiting for? There is so much here to endear him to any record collector.Wish they didn't mess around with Re-mixes.What was wrong with 'Suedehead' in '88? As for anyone who like me, has these on some format or other,at least buy 'All you need is me'.This is a storm of a song and SHOULD have been the single!Take a look at the live performance on Jools Holland,it's on Youtube.......that bassline is the DEVIL.

Greatest HITS, not Greatest Songs.

While this compliation is missing out on some of the finest Morrissey offerings (of which there are many), it does undoubtedly collect 15 excellent Moz tracks for a new listener to get started with. Would recommend buying this and then picking up 'SUEDEHEAD: The Best of' for a more complete collection of Morrissey's best tunes. And if you've only got 79p, then download 'All You Need Is Me', Modern-Moz at his finest.

a must have

this album is superb, especially if you aren't the biggest of morrissey fans. it is just about everything you will need to get you started and will see you nicely into some of his lesser known music. for die hard fans this isn't essential however the 2 brand new songs will keep you happy untill a new studio albums, the new mixes also add some variation if you are a hard core fan. some may say its just another greatest hits of which morrissey has to many, but this is the finest in my opinion.

As the lead singer of the Smiths, arguably the most important indie band in Britain during the '80s, Morrissey's theatrical crooning and literate, poetic lyrics — filled with romantic angst, social alienation, and cutting wit — connected powerfully with a legion of similarly sensitive, disaffected youth. These fans turned the Smiths into stars in Britain, exerting tremendous pull over much of the country's guitar-based music for many years after their breakup, and even if the group remained...
