been hearin a lot about theses but never took a propper intrest.......WOOW an absoluty amazing album can't say a favourite track? but personally all of them are top class, takes alot to get into but once there jut sheer class !

This is an absouletly amazing album, But if you havn't purchased there first album then there is no compariosn,Alltough this is a must buy for anyone who has purchased the first album.

Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles (II)

At first some tracks are hard to listen to, but you end up becoming rapidly addicted to this barrage of the beautifully composed, vocal-distortion-filled foot stompers and melodic tracks that inhabit this album. A different take on their first album, but some older elements creep in with the singles 'Celestica' and 'Baptism'.

Personal favourites would most certainly be: I Am Made Of Chalk, Doe Deer & Pap Smear.

Well done Crystal Castles, I look forward to future work! (:

Fusing lo-res electronic noise and pop hooks so effortlessly that it can seem accidental, Crystal Castles began as producer/multi-instrumentalist Ethan Kath's solo project in late 2003. Kath got the moniker from the name of She-Ra's dwelling in the He-Man and Masters of the Universe cartoon series; it's also the name of a 1983 Atari video game, which is oddly appropriate, considering that one component of the band's distinctive sound comes from a keyboard modified with an Atari 5200 sound chip.
