Album Review

Sweet and Sour is a very good single, as far as the twee end of the indie pop genre goes; even if Holiday Flyer's work stands little chance of getting outside the insular pop scene, siblings Katie and John Conley turn out smooth, gentle pop songs reminiscent of many Slumberland releases, as well as the work of the Heartworms or Glo-Worm. Sweet and Sour provides three very low-key tracks in this vein, and like much of the single-oriented work in the indie pop scene, the single itself is about as valuable as a full-length work, only shorter.
