I haven't listened to all of this collection yet, but Fire and Rain is surely worth the price of the album at £4.99. My brother Nick was a suicide statistic in 1980, so I know where this guy's coming from, but I was already a fan. Kit x

Echoes and resonances

Having travelled extensively particularly in the US I love the way JT revives the journey travelled and issues that I have experienced with lovely appropriate, sensitive melody and lyrical comment. He is unafraid of addressing tender and hard to express not only US but universal issues and this alone will retain him as a real favourite in my music collection.
