iTunes Review

18 Months simultaneously made Calvin Harris a superstar while launching a thousand dancefloor memories. Tracks like “I Need Your Love” and “Sweet Nothing” are packed with slick, industrial-sized synths and radio-friendly melodies, but it's the perfectly curated vocals from Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, and Ayah Marar that end the Harris proposition into the stratosphere. Check out "We Found Love" for some romance beneath the sparkle, and the vivid, melodic “Thinking About You” for a splash of Ibiza waves.

Best Yet!

Definetly his best yet, he doesn't really do album fillers very well but his hits are stronger on this than any other! and far outnumber the poorer tracks on the album.

highlight would be 'we'll be coming back', good song to stick on on a saturday night getting ready to go out with mates

I'm excited for this! But maybe a little dissapointed with the lack of songs with only him singing.

What the heck?

CALVIN! What's happened?

18 Months has had 8 singles, of which 5 have been very good (Awooga, Feel So Close, We'll Be Coming Back, Iron, Sweet Nothing), but sadly these 5 turned out to be the best tracks on the album- the rest is either filler or just bad. The latter is the case for tracks such as Drinking From The Bottle and Let's Go- pop rubbish- and the filler comes from all instrumentals other than Awooga, such as Green Valley and School. I was really looking foward to those instrumentals, but instead they were just 2 minute long "songs" to fill the gap, especially Green Valley. If Calvin had called them something like "Interlude 1/2/3" I might have been more understanding. Cancelled my pre-order.
