Amazing debut...

I heard about this band on Facebook and listened to a couple of tracks on their website (www.tildusk.co.uk) and it showed promise. I wasn't expecting what I got when I downloaded the album in its entirety. There's some great material here, apparently the lead singer's writing most of it, so if this is a debut these guys have got a great future. I'm a die hard Muse fan, which I was pointed in the 'til Dusk direction. Plenty of Muse influences here, but I'd say if you're a fan of Elbow, Everything Everything, MGMT, Kings of Leon and the Foo Fighters and want to listen to something more lyrical and some adventurous overtones (you'll get a bit of rock-reggae in here two), you won't be disappointed. Production is great, like I say, there's real promise here. Catch the guys while they're on their way up. 5 stars.

Cold Lust by 'til Dusk

I saw this band live at IndigO2, quite simply they were the best musicians on the stage that night and they were in the company of some of the best unsigned bands around. So I had to buy the album. Astonishing, this is an album that rewards the listener who listens from start to finish, you must play all the way through to max out on your enjoyment. The lyrics are very strong and several of the songs are simply inspiring. For certain on 'Lies That Sell' and don't be fooled by the start !, I love the writing of 'now your backs against the wall, I know you'll run, I hope you fall'. This stands alongside my all time favourites, a bit of Dylan or Knopfler perhaps?
'Cold Lust' the brilliantly arranged title track sounds like a cert for Eric Clapton and 'Evernamed' is just majestic! There is loads to love here and I defy anyone not to get hooked by this great upcoming band.
