A brilliant album from one of the greatest song writers ever Bolan Rocks.

Southern American Groove

Excellent Album by Marc. Highly underestimated!! But so was he!

Underated Gem

I remember buying this album when it was released and loving it. Over time much has changed in music but like Bowie,Bolan continues to sound fresh and original. Critics at the time were unkind to this album I think that was because it was more mature than previous T.Rex albums ( which were also brilliant) and went into a new direction for T.Rex. Even after 40+ years, Tanx is still my favourite of all of Bolans work, mainly because all tracks continue to sound fresh and interesting. Love the Sax and strings on many of the tracks and Mister Mister,Broken Hearted Blues and Electric Slim are the stand out tracks for me. Rest in peace Mr Bolan- your legacy lives on.
