A real grower

Bought purely as I love the "An Honest Mistake" single the rest of the album has really grown on me. A couple of reviews here compare this to The Kaiser Cheifs or The Killers - what rubbish, it's hardly the same genre. It reminds me more of early Simple Minds or New Order. Very electronic and quite unique a the moment I would say: and as the title of my review says, a real grower.

Great Album

This album does take at least 2-3 listens to get into but lets face it, the best ones do. The two bad reviews on here should be ignored - the are blatantly biased and written by bloc party/killers fanboys who spend too long reading the NME and not enough time listening to music to form their own opinions. An excellent album, of which there are too few ever; perhaps one duff song if that. Albums seem to get good reviews if there are 3 or 4 great singles on them, never mind if the rest is filler (Gorrillaz - Demon Days and the Killers album spring to mind). This is a great album with consistently great songs. I'm going to buy it again as a loony ex borrowed it leaving me with bloomin razorlight.

does anyone actually have a clue

this album is super! for anyone who loves the new indie electronical theme. these are the guys who actually started this stuff after all their album was released BEFORE the killers', bloc party's and kaiser chiefs' first album and are better than all of them put together live, i've seen all of them and bravery are leagues above them all! they are opening wembley now with the delays if you are looking for tickets

(bass), the band got its start in early 2003, several years after Vassar College classmates Conway and Endicott (formerly of the Pasties) performed in the collegiate ska outfit Skabba the Hut. After relocating to the Big Apple,...
