How did this manage to be one of my favourite Manics Albums?

With Grandiose production, the creeping introduction of electronical beats, this should be down the list for me, being a Rock dinosaur an' all, but I loves it!! the first 8 songs are simply stunning, and would have made an awsome album on their own. Could have lived without SYMM, but I applaud the bravery it took to tackle the subject matter.....just not musically my thing..... James voice on My Little Empire....amazing....

"This Is My Truth..." is an amazing album, I thoroughly enjoy all the songs apart from S.Y.M.M. but 1 mediocre song out of 13 isnt bad by anyones standards. This songs are brilliantly constructed and beautiful musically, the lyrics are also interesting, powerful and great in their own respect. This album got me into The Manics who are now my favourite band, if this can turn me around it can turn anyone around. Enjoy :D

I'm a metalhead

And this is by far the most consistent and most powerful album in my whole collection.

This is a must have for anybody with an interest in melody.
